Woke up...then stayed up, but I couldn't go to school because the van broke last night (something to do with the belt always breaking and coming off).

Stayed here and was mainly online. Played some VG's. Did nothing really.

I bummed a ride with Delonda over to Cleveland High and got some info on their indoor drumline they're forming. I have to go back a week from now with my drum and try out. Fees for the year are $350

I went home with dad, made a pit stop to clint's first though to get a moter. We talked about a car accident when I was young most the way home.

Got home...play online games, listened to music, and did nothing productive.

That concludes another usual, sucky day in the life of Orey.

(PS: I was upset/depressed today over alot of shit...I'm probably not going to get a snare spot, or even a front ensemble spot, in memphis. I'm still single . Lastly, Mark is treat me like a PoS. He called me an idiot before I left the indoor thing.)

Ok, today was rather boring...but the weekend was pretty awesome.

I met a couple of girls from mississippi, learned some technique and marching stuff, and learned some new warm-ups. It was cool. I pretty much made second string. HOPEFULLY they'll invite me back and give me a call-back letter in the mail for snare. I REALLY want snare!!! dangit...I hope I get one!

Tommorrow is the info meeting on Indoor CHS stuff. They're getting lines from the local area to come join them. They'll take a couple into each section...I'm going for snare or drumset. Screw tenors and bass...it's all suckish.

Alright, I am tired. I got home late last night and I'm wore out!!

Ok, I woke up around 3pm and ate, then got ready for jen's party.

My mom came home and ate while I was getting ready. We ended up leaving the house around 4:45 ish. We also stopped at the Dollar General and swapped the gist for Jen (I didn't like what my mom picked out so I picked out what I thought she would like.)

I got there and we hung out in the den for a little while. More people started showing up, later and later.

Only 4/7 of the drumline was there. (Nathan, Alex, and Mark were not there). They all suck :-P because they should've come!

Ok, so after hanging out, food was ready and we ate some. After that, we went in jen's room and listened to some 'Shinedown' (I also tuned her guitar with itself. I tried getting the 'e' as close as possible.)Kayla also showed up during the middle of all this. When the fire outside was ready, we went out there played in it some.

After cooking marshmellows and all that, we went back inside and watched Daniel and Adam play VG's. I watched for a few minutes, then I had to leave.

I wasn't really involved that much through the night. I was sorta just...there.... I was observing more than participating. There was a few people I really didn't know. I saw alot of band people, and they all showed up at various times.

I've noticed alot about Jen. She has a great family, and but she's also sorta embaressed of her younger years (I won't get into that...).

I wonder though, what does jen look for in a guy? What is it exactly that makes a guy 'perfect' in her eyes? It just confuses me....

I try to be there as much as I can for jen to support her. I still love her...nothing will probably ever change that (unless someone else comes along). It's hard for me not to. It's cool though just being her friend, and I know that I can never be anything more than that...but I'm not sure if I'd even want to be more than that even if I could be.

Tonight was fun. After the party, I went home and practiced for the most part. I'm still working on my snare piece (only 1 more week!) All of your prayers will be greatly appreciated! I really want this spot SO so bad...real bad....
